Pursuing Restored Relationships
I choose to see people the way YOU see them Jesus. I choose to respond, not react so others will be honoured, loved and valued. I choose to take responsibility for myself and walk in Your ways of love, grace and connection.
According to Proverbs 16:32 It’s better to have self control than to take a city. Today I choose to be a Child of God who has Self Control in every relationship I’m in. When I get angry, when I get tempted, I will choose to do things Your way and control myself to think like You think and to do like You showed me to do.
According to Proverbs 18:21 I can speak life or death with my tongue. Today I choose to be a Child of God who speaks life to every person I engage with. Even when they speak death or hatred or criticism towards me. I will extend grace and speak life and love to them.
According to 1 Peter 1:3 - God, Your divine power has given me everything I need for a godly life because You called me by Your own glory and goodness to be a powerful Child of God. Today I choose to walk in that.
According to 1 Peter 1:4- God, You have given me Your very great and precious promises, so that through them, I may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. Today I choose to walk in that, in every one of my relationships.
According to 1 Peter 1: 10 Today I confirm my calling as a Child of God. Because of Your guidance, knowledge and strength in me, because of Your powerful connection with me, through Your Holy Spirit, I will walk in restored relationships. And where I lack wisdom, I will ask you and walk in confidence as I know you will equip those who You have called.
As a Child of God, I will always attempt to enter all conversations and engagements with the Goal to Connect. When they make false accusations, I will take control of me. When they disrespect me, I will love in return.
