River Valley Vancouver
River Valley Church Vancouver is offering four paid summer internships for 2026 through the Canada Summer Jobs program. These roles are for young adults (ages 15–30) looking to gain real experience, build skills, and contribute to their community.
All positions run for 9 weeks at 30 hours per week between April and August 2026. Compensation is $20/hr.
Open Roles:
• Child & Youth Worker (2) — Support kids and youth programming, events, and outreach
• Multimedia & Graphics Assistant (1) — Create content, design graphics, and support media
• Production Assistant (1) — Support audio, video, lighting, and live production

Media Internship (Multimedia & Graphics Technician)
1 Position | 9 Weeks | 30 hrs/week | $20/hr | April–August 2026
Love design, content creation, and all things digital? This role supports River Valley’s communications through design, video, and digital content—creating visuals, editing video, managing social media, and supporting Sunday services and events.
You’ll design and publish content across platforms, build promotional materials, support live and recorded media, and help maintain equipment and digital assets. You’ll also assist with general media and administrative tasks as needed.
This role suits someone creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. Experience with design or editing tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) and an understanding of social media are helpful.
Tech/Media & Production Internship
1 Position | 9 Weeks | 30 hrs/week | $20/hr | April–August 2026
Enjoy design, content creation, and working with digital media? This role supports River Valley’s communications and production through graphics, video, and live media for Sundays, events, and ministry life.
You’ll create and publish content, design visual assets, assist with video editing, and support both live and recorded media. You’ll also help with basic production tasks, equipment setup, and keeping media and tech spaces organized, along with general support as needed.
This role fits someone creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across both digital content and hands-on media. Familiarity with design or editing tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) and a basic understanding of media or production is helpful.
KiDS & YTH Worker
2 Positions | 9 Weeks | 30 hrs/week | $20/hr | April–August 2026
Join our Kids and Youth team this summer, supporting Preschool - Grade 4 and Junior Youth. This role is hands-on, helping lead Sunday environments, summer camp, midweek activities, and special events.
You’ll assist with planning and adapting curriculum, supporting and encouraging volunteers, connecting with families, and helping create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for kids. You’ll also support outreach, administrative tasks, and day-to-day ministry operations.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with kids and youth, works well on a team, takes initiative, and is reliable. Experience in teaching, mentoring, or childcare is helpful, but not required.
